What is Israeli Couscous?
Israeli couscous resembles a hard wheat flour pasta and is made up of small balls. It was created in Israel in 1950s, when rice was scarce. It has since become a staple around the world. You can substitute orzo pasta with this recipe.
If grilling outdoors isn’t an option, place oven rack in top third of oven and preheat broiler. Arrange kebabs on a baking sheet with a rim and slide it under the broiler. Broil kebabs for 5 minutes and turn them once if you want medium-rare. Broil for a few minutes longer to get medium kebabs.
